This initiative was announced in Barcelona and the alliance is now aiming to bring more companies into its fold in order to make the data connectivity in airline cabins more seamless.
One of the biggest objectives of this alliance is to bring down the costs and hurdles commonly associated with acquisition, installation and operation of data access infrastructure.
As of now, it will only be the customers of the leading mobile operator who will be able to make use of the data connectivity that will be provided inside the cabins of the flights operating in India.
