One of Auroville’s best-known boutiques, Kalki has a branch in Mission Street in the Tamil Quarter, which stocks a quirky selection of hand-painted silks, bags, footwear, pottery, jewellery and assorted souvenirs. However, its USP is Auroville-based company Maroma’s wide range of natural fragrance products such as perfumes, scented candles, essential oils, body care cosmetics and incense sticks.
