International Museum Day: Inside India’s first Museum of Illusions

Delhi has a new address for funlovers—the Museum of Illusions! Set in the heart of Delhi, Museum Illusions in Connaught Place is India's first optical illusion museum. This amazing museum challenges visitors' senses. Some of the prominent exhibits here are holograms, a no gravity room and mirror rooms, among others.

One can also try photo illusions with various backgrounds. The Smart Playroom here is aimed at stimulating cognitive function. From mental games to opening knots and building blocks to being a part of a mirror room, there are myriad things on offer.
Those interested can also shop for interesting games, souvenirs and little optical illusions from the in-house store.

The collection of holograms is simply splendid here. One can look closer at every optical illusion and observe each one. Some of the tricks here will make your jaw drop! This place is all about awesome tricks, vision and perception that plays around with the human brain. The whole place is pure science. The playroom here has some intriguing and educational games and puzzles.
How to reach?

The Museum of Illusions is centrally located in Connaught Place, Delhi. Get down at the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station and walk for about 5 minutes, and you’ll reach your destination.
