It is not every day that you wake up feeling kidnapped, but a group of Indian farmers felt this way recently with the help of Indian Railway. Around 1500 Indian farmers travelling from Delhi to Mahrashtra in a train woke up shocked to learn that the train was in fact moving in the wrong direction.

The recent train derailment incidents in India have caused worry among Indian railway travellers, and the farmers feared that an untoward incident may occur due to the wrong route.
In a statement, the chartered railway firm said, "Special trains are run through a route which is conveniently available to the railway operation. The passengers might have felt confused because of the different route used in their return journey. There was no negligence and diversion."
