There is a different kind of fun in going local in a foreign land and Corsica will welcome you in a warm embrace that moment you get to her pulse. Walk down the alleys of the island while mingling with the locals. Get them to a conversation and you will be taken to many unexplored places. Where dialogues end, delicacies commence! Eat like a local while in Corsica. Do try their native food which is a fusion of French and Italian cuisines which brings together the flavours of fresh herbs, sausages, charcuterie, honey, wine and chestnuts! For desserts, you must have canistelli (biscuits made with walnuts, almond, lemon and aniseed) and the beignet de brocciu (goat cheese fritters)!
