The Gandhi Museum in Lucknow offers several insights into the life of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Situated near the Shaheed Smarak in Kaiserbagh, the museum was established by the Uttar Pradesh Gandhi Smarak Nidhi in the year 1973. The place has nearly 250 photographs of Gandhi that are arranged in a sequence. These pictures cover Gandhi’s journey from being a young student, to a qualified lawyer and a fearless freedom fighter. You can also visit the library located in the premises, which has an impressive collection of about 18,000 old books. Built with the vision of keeping Gandhi’s memories alive in the minds of youth, this museum is a must visit for all.
