When it comes to contemporary art, Chiang Mai has been picking up the pace. This creative hotspot has long been attracting travellers with its artsy vibe and laid back atmosphere. Being Thailand’s second-biggest city doesn’t hurt; as Chiang Mai’s population continues to grow, its arts infrastructure expands in tandem.
