Formerly the king's hunting island, these days it is a hub of nature-loving activity. Djurgården plays host to many museums, restaurants, an amusement park and about 800 of the city's wealthiest citizens.
Take a walk or ride a bike to the further reaches of the island, which are closed off to vehicle traffic. Here you can see the home of ABBA's Benny Anderson and the Wallenberg family home, Sweden's equivalent to the Rockefellers.
