Evensong at Westminster Abbey

One of the best ways to look inside Westminster – sans the visitor fee – is by attending Evensong (the evening prayer service), to hear the Abbey choir sing. For the past thousand years of British history, even to this day, Westminster Abbey is England’s Coronation Church. The superbly talented choir singers are educated at Westminster Abbey Choir School, and Evensong is held at 5 in the evening on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and at three in the afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays. This is one experience that will definitely be the highlight of your trip.
