The soaring glass-topped galleria of Toronto's number one tourist attraction, the Eaton Centre, is one of its most attractive features. But that's not the reason people visit. The Eaton Centre is a climate-controlled shopper's paradise right in the heart of the city. Even on the coldest day in winter or the hottest in summer, visitors can stroll happily in a cheery, well-lit environment and browse the 230 retailers, restaurants and services. From buying a take-away carton of New York Fries in the basement food court, to Victoria's Secret lingerie on the first floor, to a complete iMac computer system on the top floor, you can get almost anything and everything here, at Toronto's largest mall. Clothing and shoe stores predominate, however, so come prepared to restock your wardrobe. The Eaton Centre also houses numerous restaurants and services, so when you've shopped till you're ready to drop, you can have a relaxing lunch or dinner. Sit-down restaurants include an Italian trattoria, an English pub and a Japanese sushi bar.
