Take a closer look at Andy Warhol’s work of art at the Tate Modern in London

If you have always been fascinated by pop art, most specifically, Andy Warhol’s genius, then here is something for you. A major retrospective of Andy Warhol’s works is now opening at the Tate Modern in London in the Spring of 2020. Called Andy Warhol, it is going to run from March 12 to September 6, 2020, at the Eyal Ofer Galleries.
Best known for his silk-screen prints of Campbell’s Soup Cans and Marilyn Diptych, Warhol created a lasting impression in pop culture and had also made films. You can check out some of Warhol’s finest arts up close like never before. There will also be a floating, helium-filled Silver Clouds, and his experimental multimedia work, the Exploding Plastic Inevitable. This was first performed by the legendary band Velvet Underground and NIco back in 1966 in New York. Sounds exciting right?!


Here at Tate Modern, you will also be able to see some of his lesser-known paintings from the 1970s, and other experimental productions.
