On 19th November, 2016 me and two of my friends set forth for a road trip from Pune to Diveagar to celebrate my birthday. We cruised through Malshej ghat , Tamini ghat, stopped for a while to capture the beautiful ghat through our lenses , roads were more or less a hindrance but the view compensated it.It took us 4 and half hours from Pune to reach Diveagar Beach. On reaching we looked for an accomodation and luckily found one that suited us the best for Rs 1200 per/night.The coastal village is adored with coconut trees, ancient temple on the way towards the beach and some lip smacking konkani sea food. Although much to our surprise inspite of being a coastal town the Fish was expensive . The village is not much developed so i would suggest carrying your essentials along with you. The roads in and out of the village are broken that makes it a bumpy ride. While our way back to Pune we enrouted through the road which is parallel to the coast line leading us to Aravi Beach. The view and the feeling of riding along the coast was marvelous but i wished Maharashtra Government put a little extra effort in maintaining the state Highways. Ps: Worth a visitRead More
