Talk of the town: Their 2011 campaign “come in undressed and go out dressed” saw a line of people queuing up in their underwear – luckily it was summer.

Desigual’s humble origins were in 1980s Ibiza, where a young Swiss designer called Thomas Meyer spent his summers making and selling T-shirts. Moving to Barcelona, the ever-creative Meyer turned a load of second-hand jeans into jackets and he hasn’t looked back.

Renowned for its colourful urban wear, Desigual's all about breaking from convention, spontaneity and positivity, so expect a kaleidoscopic explosion of bold colours and patchwork graffiti. The garish prints may not be to everyone’s taste but, love them or hate them, they won’t go unnoticed.
