- Measures taken to disinfect terminal buildings and observe strict adherence to social distancing norms by staff and passengers after lockdown has been lifted.
- To ensure effective social distancing at the airport, DIAL will use more queue managers at kerb side (city side), check-in and security check areas as well as boarding gates, with social distancing reminders.
- DIAL will ask all passengers to wear masks and abide by social distancing rules in the airport premises. DIAL will put signage in coloured tape and uneven seating arrangement with various markers on alternate chairs to keep a gap in order to implement effective social distancing policy.
- More seating arrangements to be done in the check-in area for passengers close to the check-in counters, immigration and security areas.
- DIAL has been thoroughly cleaning its airport premises daily.
- 500 sanitation professionals will be on duty to conduct regular disinfection drives every hour. Desks, chairs, railings, elevators, CUSS, trolleys, handles, baggage belts, trays, etc. to be cleaned regularly inside the terminals.
- Washrooms shall be shut every hour for cleansing by the housekeeping staff. Auto-dispensing sanitisers at terminals to be installed by DIAL.
- Passengers will be asked to check-in at home or make use of a self-check-in facility, self bag tag facility, etc to avoid overcrowding at the airport counters. UV machines will also get installed to disinfect checked-in baggage.
- Trolleys to be sanitised after every use. Social distancing and aseptic measures to be encouraged in food courts, lounges and shops.
- Facilities to isolate passengers suspected of being infected with COVID-19 passengers at the airport.
- Team of security staff wearing masks and gloves will be present at different entry points to screen the airport staff.
