When you travel to a destination, one of the things that you like to do is shop for souvenirs for your loved ones or collectibles that you can keep as great memories of the trip to the place. The Centre of Folk Art & Crafts is a great place in Sofia to shop for such items. Although slightly high-priced, but this is a one-stop shop for all the typical Bulgarian souvenirs such as hand-woven rugs, pottery, silver jewellery, woodcarvings and CDs of Bulgarian music. Although this is the place where you are most likely to find everything you want, in case you fall short of options, you can visit their branch inside the Royal Palace, at the exit from the Ethnographic Museum.
