“I have Galapagos Islands on my list”

Travel plan: I look up the popular spots and ask people, who have been there, for feedback. I urge them to connect me to locals. With homestays becoming increasingly popular it’s always fun to stay with a family. I aim for good, homely food.
Travel style: I am a mixed bag kind of traveller. While I go into a super backpacking mode, there are times when I indulge too. I trek and camp a lot. I take two kinds of personal trips a year, the super grunge and the super grand.
Food while travelling: In Bhutan, I loved and binged on Jasha Maroo, a spicy minced chicken stew that’s eaten with white or red rice. Oh lord... it’s delicious and so easy on the stomach.

Must-pack items: I pack my toiletries with care. I always need all my haircare products to be in place. Other than that, I always carry two pairs of shoes and flip flops. I carry multiple shirts to match varied bottoms.
Travel lesson you have learnt: Meet people, greet and talk to everyone. Do something adventurous. Take an evening alone to watch the sunset or write down about your trip and travel. It’s cathartic.

Funniest or scariest travel moment: The funniest moment on our trip to Bhutan was being greeted by people all through the hike to Tiger’s Nest, on our way up and then down.
Travel gear: Check the weather, carry jackets (if necessary). I love colours. Carry wearable clothes and ones you can restyle.

Travel goals: I have Palau and Galapagos on my list. Would love to go diving there.

Travel pet peeves: I can’t do without a nail cutter!
