Chandratal is said to be the most photographed lake of the world, and rightly so. The beauty of the lake inspires even the non-photographers to click it. It looks even more alluring during the morning hours. So it is worth spending a night camping near the lake. Your tents will be pitched literally in the lap of Himalayas, surrounded by snow-covered peaks on all sides. The nights here are very cold even in June-July, so if you plan to camp at Chandra Taal, be fully prepared. Try and visit the place during full moon and you will have one of the best camping of your life.
