Bamboo Shoots Cooking School

The Bamboo Shoots program starts with a trip to the local village market, where students purchase the fresh produce for cooking. During the morning, students get to sample each course that is freshly cooked, retaining its freshness, taste and smell of herbs and spices. Morning is a procession of cooking and eating.

Group sizes are limited to ensure individual tutoring; thus, it is always advisable to book well ahead. The day starts at 7 am, when you'll be picked up from your hotel and usually concludes at around 1 pm by the pool with a cool drink or two before being transferred back to your hotel. Classes are run on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
