Dubai’s sprawling water parks offer the right mix of thrills and chills. Located inside the Atlantis resort, the 42 acre Aquaventure park has water roller coasters and slides, a special playground for kids, a 700 metre private beach, and marine encounters in a shark lagoon. Highlights include the Tower of Neptune with its 9 metre vertical drop that leads to a transparent tube inside a shark tank; and The Rapids, a water slide with rapids, waterfalls and waves. Visitors can also swim, dive and play with dolphins in the Dolphin Bay.
