Separated by a headland, there are actually two Ao Yons—Ao Yon senior and Aon junior, located south of Cape Panwa. Lined by coconut palms, the beach is pristine white, perfect to relax and bring out the artist in you. It offers breathtaking views of the Chalong Bay and Lone Island and is widely known for shrimp farming. There are no accommodation facilities on the beach as it is a residential area. If you get a chance, ask around and rent a longtail boat from the residents; you might get one if you are lucky. This beach is ideal for picnicking and spending a day out with friends.
