When to visit: The Valley of Flowers is accessible between June to October, but the best time to visit would be July to mid August. This is the time when the Himalayan flowers are in full bloom and the valley is all colourful.

How to reach: For those planning a Valley of Flower trek, the closest airport is the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun while the Rishikesh railway station is the nearest railhead. The base camp for the valley is Govindghat from where the trek begins. You have to go to Ghangaria, and then proceed towards your destination.
