Getting in and out of Buenos Aires
Almost all airlines that fly into Buenos Aires arrive at the main hub, the Aeropuerto Internacional Ministro Pistarini (EZE), generally referred to as Ezeiza after the area in which it is found. Ezeiza is approximately 35km from downtown Buenos Aires.
With a travel time of around 45-minutes, taxis are the quickest option. Avoid the unofficial taxi drivers swarming around; instead take a cab from the official stand just inside the airport.
Domestic travel and flights to and from Uruguay leave from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) located in Palermo. Public buses 33 and 45 head into the centre (ARS 2), as well as MTL shuttles for ARS 30.
