Located on the outskirts of Udaipur city, Ahar was the cremation site of the royal family of Mewar. Despite its history, the site is far from spooky.
Located on the outskirts of Udaipur city, Ahar was the cremation site of the royal family of Mewar. Despite its history, the site is far from spooky. There are over 250 beautiful cenotaphs of 19 rulers from the last four centuries. You can also visit the remains of an earlier capital nearby, and a museum with some archaeological artefacts.
