The shopkeeper is extremely polite and happy to provide any information that he can. While we were looking at the jewellery and trying to make up our minds on what to buy, he served us some delicious sweet mint tea. We walked out of the shop with jewellery not only for ourselves but also gifts for friends back home because we were sure they too would love them. Do keep in mind that shops in the area only towards evening because the days are too hot and the heat is absolutely unbearable in summers. All the local people take the afternoon siesta seriously. During the winter months however, the shops may stay open through the day. So while you are in Aqaba, and if you are fond of jewellery, Adams Jewellers is a stop you must make, if not to buy then at least to take a look at the things they have on sale there.
