Unquestionably the best place for an evening stroll with the family, the Corniche in Abu Dhabi is a stretch of 8 km manicured waterfront peppered with children play areas, a wake boarding area, and a host of restaurants and cafes, all of which meet at the Corniche Beach. The place can be best explored on foot, bicycles (there are rental stations along the boardwalk), or one can even take a cab. The waters just off the beach are safe for children; floating fences keep swimmers from straying beyond 40 metres. There are several lifeguards too in case of emergency, so don’t worry, your kids are safe. At the Beginners Park here one can learn how to wakeboard, and is free to use with experts guiding novices on how to catch up with the waves. Besides, this is one of the most preferred locations in Abu Dhabi with a number of hotels for the vacationers and holidaymakers. There’s a lot to do and explore so one can easily plan a holiday to Abu Dhabi.
