This three-and-a-half-hour bus tour highlights the festively lit homes of Dyker Heights, the Italian-American section of Brooklyn where families bedeck their houses come holiday time with over-the-top Christmas decorations. An estimated 100,000 people come out to see the displays each year. The tour departs from Manhattan every night in December, letting you see lights from both on and off the bus as the tour guide escorts you around. It’s a multimedia presentation, too, as festive music and vintage Christmas TV specials featuring Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby play while you're on the bus. End the night with a stop at Mona Lisa Pastry Shop for cannoli and hot chocolate.
