Unsettled pretenders to culture can skip Saadiyat and make a beeline for the man-made Yas Island, where the only appreciation is stirred by adrenaline. Unsettled pretenders to culture can skip Saadiyat and make a beeline for the man-made Yas Island, where the only appreciation is stirred by adrenaline. Home to the Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina F1 circuit where for a pretty penny you can get behind the wheel of a track-fitted Aston Martin (AED 1500), a Formula 3 car (AED 1500), or even ride pillion in an F1 car (AED 12000). There are track days and drift nights if you fancy a bit of competition. Children will love the Yas Waterworld—the ‘biggest waterpark,’ in the world, a two day pass for both parks (including Ferrari World) wouldn’t cost much. The pace here on the Yas Island changes with your mood! The place is absolute heaven for kids and adults alike as there is so much to do and discover here. The island is a complete fun destination in itself.
