World’s longest cruise has just been unveiled by the Norwegian-owned cruise line — Viking. It will set sail from London on August 13, 2019. Viking’s newest cruise, i.e., Viking Sun has already been rated among the world’s top rated cruise lines. The cruise will take travellers around 59 countries and every continent apart from Antarctica. The journey will likely end in May 2020, and will last for around 245 days.
This eight-month journey around 59 countries will be Viking’s third voyage around the globe, and will likely break its previous record of world cruises. Viking Chairman Torstein Hagen said, “Our World Cruises offer guests the rare opportunity to unpack once and explore dozens of the best destinations on Earth, at a value that is unprecedented in the travel industry.”

The voyage will culminate after taking a trip along the west coasts of Spain and Portugal before reaching the United Kingdom. Viking Chairman further stated, “For more than 20 years we have been offering guests the most culturally immersive journeys available in the industry, and we are pleased to announce the most extensive itinerary in our history.”
So if you have ample amount of spare time and loads of money, you should definitely book a ticket for yourself.
