Ever since this teaser came out, everyone on the social media had been playing Sherlock to find out what the #GoMonster on one charge challenge is all about and who will accept it. Curious, we also kept a close eye on Samsung’s social media page for more information and now we have it. Here’s what Samsung shared on their Instagram handle:
Did you hear that? The first in the #GoMonster on one charge challenge series is the Monster Trail - a thrilling ride from Leh to Hanle in ONE battery life on a bike! And Amit has accepted the dare, guys! He will document the entire journey with the new Samsung Galaxy M30s mounted on his bike. And going by the route, he will probably have to cover Leh - Chang La Pass (which is claimed to be the second highest motor-able road in the world elevated at a whopping 17,590 ft ) - Pangong Tso on Day 1 and Pangong Tso - Lukung/Spangmik - Chushul - Hanle on Day 2. This means, uninterrupted use of his phone for 2 days on a single charge on a tricky terrain! Quite a task, we say.
For the uninitiated, Hanle is a quaint little village which is less than 100km from the border and where the Indian Astronomical Observatory has set up one of the world's highest observatories. There are only a few accommodations available in the village and amenities like electricity, medical aid, hot running water, western toilets etc. are luxury in itself. The lack of oxygen makes survival difficult if your body is not properly acclimatized to its high altitude. And that’s not it - the roads from Leh to Hanle can be treacherous to say the least. We can only imagine the kinds of hurdles Amit Sadh will have to face during his ride - rugged roads, landslides, tricky off-road, harsh weather etc. All of this may delay his journey, leading him to use his phone much more. And who can resist the temptation to halt and take pictures of the Himalayas with freezing mountain streams, high altitude gorgeous passes, majestically laden plains, and enormous mountain lakes?! Not to forget, Amit is a popular celebrity and needs to be connected with his fans and team almost all the time, even if only virtually. All of this will run Amit’s Samsung Galaxy M30s up a flagpole.
Will the mammoth battery of the Samsung Galaxy M30s be able to stand this test against time and use? We hope it does because cellphones are no longer just communication tools - they’re GPS, cameras, gaming consoles, health trackers, and much more. We turn to our devices for everything — from waiting in line at the grocery store or reading the news, to filing our taxes or controlling the thermostat. We don’t just use our smartphones for everything — we rely on them. And to do all of this, our phones need a big battery that can last as long as we need it to. And Samsung Galaxy M30s seems to tick all the right boxes - forward-looking modern design coupled with innovative technology that today’s globetrotting, tech-savvy millennials seek in their next purchase.
All you digital nomads looking to live life king size with a monster battery, buy the all new Samsung Galaxy M30s on Amazon or Samsung.com.
