When money is no object
Word to the wise: Don't miss the Jimmy Choo boutique in the spaceship-style MLC Centre on the corner of Castlereagh and King Streets.
It may not have the same notoriety of Paris' Avenue des Champs-Elysees or New York's 5th Avenue, but Sydney's Castlereagh Street packs its own high-end punch.
Start at David Jones on the corner of Castlereagh and Market Streets and walk along Castlereagh towards Circular Quay to find all the big names, from Prada to Luis Vuitton, Hermes to Fendi, Gucci, Yves St Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Chanel and Bvlgari. Turn right at Hunter Street to find Chifley Plaza, which houses Tiffany & Co, Max Mara, Pancaldi 1888 and Marina Rinaldi.
