Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja choose ‘Amchi Mumbai’ as their wedding destination

We have seen celebrities going for luxury foreign destination weddings, but our Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor is not like others. She is all set to marry her long term beau Anand Ahuja at her home and work town, Mumbai! After ‘Virushka’s’ grand fairy-tale Italian wedding in Tuscany, it was being anticipated that Sonam too will tie nuptial knot somewhere far from home. But the Kapoors have decided to wed their daughter in Mumbai and then throw a grand reception in Delhi. As per reports, the wedding will take place in the first week of May.

A Mumbai wedding for the couple
Now the couple and their families are planning a big fat Punjabi wedding in Mumbai, the city of dream as it is called. The city is not only famous for being home to Bollywood and celebrities, but also holds immense historical and heritage value. The capital of Maharashtra, Mumbai is renowned for its beaches and architecture, among others. When it comes to interesting places to visit in Mumbai, options are plenty. From Juhu Beach and Madh Island to The Gateway of India and Haji Ali, there’s a lot to see and explore here. Mumbai, the city that never sleeps, will actually keep you awake with its vibrant nightlife!

Giving travel goals

Both Sonam and Anand are travel freaks and their social media profiles are flooded with their voyage pictures. The first picture to appear on Instagram was of the couple roaming around on the streets of London and shopping. Then the fashion couple went on a New York and Los Angeles trip and posted ‘having fun’ pictures, which made their relationship clear in public eyes.
