The aroma of cooked sugar will reach you long before you arrive at tiny Papabubble. The concept may have gone global but the two Australian founders still make sweets the old-fashioned way. Throughout the day you can watch the candy men tugging, twisting, rolling and chopping the molten sugar into sweets, lollipops and weird and wonderful shapes. Read less

The aroma of cooked sugar will reach you long before you arrive at tiny Papabubble. The concept may have gone global but the two Australian founders still make sweets the old-fashioned way. Throughout the day you can watch the candy men tugging, twisting, rolling and chopping the molten sugar into sweets, lollipops and weird and wonderful shapes.
Glass jars filled with rainbow-coloured sweetness line the shelves and thirty flavours are available at any one time, including seasonal treats like coconut in summer. You can also indulge in some perennial British favourites, such as Humbugs and Bull’s Eyes.
