Beloved Burmese fare in a charming neighborhood

Clement Street is known for its abundance of Asian restaurants, but Burma Superstar stands out for its flavorful and unique menu. Among the star dishes at this intimate spot are the Tea Leaf Salad – a combination of imported Burmese tea leaves, peanuts, garlic and a slew of secret extras – and the equally mysterious 22-ingredient Rainbow Salad.
The place is often packed, and the tables are a bit close together, but the ambience is warm and lively, with plenty of Burmese sculptures and paintings dotting the walls.
