Russia is planning to ease tourist visa requirements for "friendly" countries, including India. These countries will be able to visit Russia visa-free starting in early 2019. The e-visa program, which was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be restarted for about 70 countries. Most Western countries will not be able to access this new facility. Read less
