Horses have always been an integral part of Arab heritage. Sign up for an organized horse trek at this Equestrian Centre, or just pop in to visit and you’ll encounter much free-roaming wildlife. Sprightly gazelles, Arabian oryx, an abundance of birds—from the wheatear to the babbler, the falcon to the raven—are the new friends that you’ll meet as you explore the property. And if you’re really lucky, you’ll encounter the shy wildcat or desert fox.

All riding needs can be addressed at this centre—from the training of the novice rider to the training of one’s horse. But best of all, the staff who manage the place have a deep relationship with and concern for the animals they work and live among. If ever you want to get deeper insight into the behavior of an oryx, horse or newborn chick—here’s the place to ask.
