Classic Czech pub with some interesting twists
Tipple of choice: For a change, ask for Lokál U Bílé kuželky's own home-brewed beer as a "snyt", a half litre glass served as three quarters foam.
In an area so busy with visitors as Mala Strana, it's hard to find somewhere that's genuinely popular with locals. In Lokál U Bílé kuželky, however, you'll hear Czech more often than English or German.
It's a classic, friendly Czech pub and dining room that, on second glance, isn't all that classic. The food - typical hearty, meaty Czech grub - is also way above average, made only with fresh ingredients from regional suppliers.
