Marche aux Puces
A bustling daily market selling antiques, curios and second-hand goods
Word to the wise: There may be more stalls at weekends but the best bargains are to be had early morning midweek.

Talk of the town: The market features in both the print and film version of Herge's 'The Secret of the Unicorn', one of his many Tintin adventures.
You never know what you might find at Brussels' biggest flea market. Whether it's a vintage coat, an African mask, a framed 19th century print, an antique lamp, the possibilities are endless. Packed with hundreds of stalls, it's been running since 1919 and is the only antiques and flea market in the world that's open every day.

Wander around the pretty square in the artisanal Marolles district, one of the most authentic in central Brussels, pick up some bargains and then head down one of the streets leading off it for some well-earned brunch at a cosy cafe.
