Yet another preferred haunt of the young and the restless of Phuket, Indy Market is all about cheap and custom-made clothing and accessories along with oodles of delectable street food. Also known as Laadploykong, this night market is a lot smaller than its counterparts but given the handmade jewellery, bags and showpieces up for grabs, it is a lot more unique. And yes, almost everything is priced at around 100 to 150 Baht.

Gorge on dumplings and Thai style crepes. Relish some spicy chicken skewers and warm your insides with a bowl of fish soup. Finish off your culinary journey with a big helping of fluffy coconut sponge cake and a glass of pina colada. Indy Market is the closest you could get to the gastronomic version of heaven. If you’re looking for a fancier meal, the Lemongrass Restaurant is not very far. There are regular live music performances by youngsters who believe in the power of creative expression. Expect to spend a memorable evening inside this Dee Book Road establishment - shopping, eating and tapping your feet to the rhythm. If you can’t find a place to park your car, the nearby Limelight Avenue is your best bet.
