For some of the best furniture and handicrafts in town, head over to the Phuket HomePro Village. A mecca for home improvement in Thailand’s premier beach resort, locals throng to this place for their daily needs while tourists turn to it for quality keepsakes in the form of paintings, dainty wooden tables, attractive lampshades, ornate vases, quirky showpieces and home supplies that might not be available in their country. The ambience of this mall is very airy and funky, much like a tiny village on an island, thus accounting for its immense popularity.
Apart from homeware, the HomePro Village also has a massive Toys R Us store, a Boots outlet and a Villa Market that is stocked up with all imaginable organic groceries in the world including candy, local spices, wine and exotic fruits and vegetables. Sportswear, eyeglasses, swimming pool supplies and electronics are also available. The premises also plays host to a luxurious nail spa if you’re in the mood for a pamper session. Unfortunately, there is not much in terms of food. HomePro Village is located right before Phuket’s Chalong Circle.
