As one goes towards Yuksom from Pelling, about 25 km away, this striking waterfall at one of the corners of a sharp bend along the road generates a roaring concord that is hard to subside. Falling from a steep cliff of close to 150 m in height, this waterfall rushes in with a lot of volume during the monsoons. This is a perennial waterfall and though the amount reduces a bit during the winters, the cascades continue to survive throughout the year. The opulence of this waterfall gains prominence during the monsoons and with the rise in the popularity in recent times, this waterfall has turned into a showstopper of this region. There is a small flight of stairs that guide to another viewpoint of these falls. A lot of small snacks stall has come up around this fall with the corresponding increase in the footfalls of the sightseers.
