Arguably the first bar that people are likely to visit ‘coz it’s the first night spot on the Walking Street from the Beach Road end, Gulliver’s Club can be recognised via its London Underground-style sign. Having said that, it is better known as the Red Car Bar because of the bright red Cadillac stuck to the wall along the narrow alley which takes the visitors up to the entrance. The bar boasts some of the most creative (and delicious) cocktails around. With pool tables, booths, long central bar, small dance floor and combo of hip-hop and R&B music being played by the deft DJ, Gulliver’s truly has booze flowing through its veins.
