The first place to headline Indie music acts, T.L.R. ( The Living Room Café & Kitchen) is well known for nurturing the live-gig scene when none existed. Located in Delhi’s own Soho —Hauz Khas village—T.L.R., with its carefree vibe, excellent continental food, and eclectic music quickly became the city’s favourite party spot and hang-out joint when it opened a few years back. Besides hosting established names, it’s helped launch new talent such as the Reggae Rajahs, Ska Vengers and Dualist Inquiry. After briefly closing down last year, it reopened in a smaller avatar and now runs as a bakery by day and a restaurant-cum-bar by night.
