Nestled within a concrete canyon of towering office buildings and skyscrapers, Armani/Privé is located on the upper level of the Armani store (it’s more a building than a shop) in Central, and comprises of both indoor and outdoor spaces spanning 14,000 sq ft, and accommodating up to 250 people on any given night. One of only four Armani/Prive bars around the world (the other three are in Dubai, Milan and Tokyo), this bar-lounge-nightclub is ideal for a sophisticated evening out under the stars when you’ve had enough of the hustle and bustle offered by its more rambunctious neighbour—Lan Kwai Fong. With hanging gardens to one side, and the gleaming wall of the next-door skyscraper to the other, the rooftop bar sprawls along the length of the building and is littered with comfortable cream sofas and high-back chairs bathed in candle-light. We suggest starting on the terrace, and proceeding indoors to shimmy once you’re down a few drinks. Reach early to bag a table on the weekends, and be prepared to shell out a hefty amount.
