Cafe Odeon

Cafe Odeon is a legendary address in Zurich and is a bar, a restaurant and a cafe rolled into one. A part of the Bellevue, it is a popular breakfast place in the morning and morphs into a busy bar after dark. Odeon has a fantastic selection of wines and beer and its art nouveau interiors impart this timeless vibe to the establishment. In fact, the building in itself is a historical wonder. While the food menu is quite small, their schnitzels, burgers and fries go really well with the alcohol. With golden chandeliers and granite walls, this bar almost looks like a palace and attracts a very stylish crowd. The tables are small with red stools and are reminiscent of bars of the 50s and 60s. There is an outdoor seating area if you want nice views of the street. The service is fast and efficient.
Because of its lively atmosphere and excellent location, this venue is perfect for a memorable night out in Zurich. Odeon is pricey because of the vintage charm associated with its name and is not really for those looking for cheap watering holes in the city.
