Close to Amsterdam Central, lies Bitterzoet, where the quirky stained glass windows lining the top the club, bartenders are affable, the lighting is low, the music soundtrack is beloved by all, and the drinks is a must. The entire establishment is divided into two levels - the second level more relaxing with couches and tables and the lower level with a nice sized dance floor and stage. There is a small, intimate concert room with balcony and various levels for the guests to stand and watch the stage. The music being played is usually alternative to hip-hop, dance and soul. They also provide small lockers to the guests for storing their belongings. Fantastic smoking area.
