Situated in Promenade des Anglais' inimitable landmark, Hotel Le Negresco, La Rotonde plays up the fun and vibrant creativity of the hotel with its Pompadour carousel décor (think: lots of wooden horses and twinkling lights).

A more relaxed and affortable option than Le Chantecler - though also overseen by chef Jean-Denis Rieubland - the restaurant offers good-quality French comfort food, and professional service. There's a well-priced set menu, while the Negresco's Niçoise salad with seared tuna and the monkfish cheek confit with olive oil, fondue of leeks and sweet piquillo peppers are also recommended.
