Run by friendly witch Lady Mimi Lansou, Esoterica is one of a number of such stores in the Quarter catering to the city's reputation for voodoo. At least she practices what she preaches. Or spells what she sells.

You'll also find all you need to cook up a New Orleans gris gris, including dozens of essential oils, herbs and powders; bizarre and unusual substances like corpse water, four thieves vinegar and zombie dust; a cauldron to cook it up in; and - worryingly - a selection of ritual knives.
