Located close to Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Charleville area of Mussoorie, this is a simple looking café without any frills. The Charleville Book Cafe started its journey in Nov 2013 as a bookstore and a cafe. “The name was to revive the old name of Charleville,” says the owner Ashish Narayan. Apart from the nostalgia it is a laid back haunt with a good collection of books, coffee and old fashioned snacks. They serve eggs and bacon/sausages/ham, an assortment of sandwiches like chicken club, ham and cheese, cheese and tomatoes. You have the option to make your own sandwich or pancakes with maple syrup. Its USP is good food and value for money. Ask for special omelette or scrambled eggs. Both are their specialty.
