Frik Frak is the leading vintage-chic retailer in the city and is at the forefront of the new trend for all things retro. The prices are relatively low and the owner has a fine eye for choice items, which she scours the flea markets of Russia and Europe for.

It’s popular with film crews and fashion magazine editors, and at busy times they are likely to refuse entry to the little shop. A further word of warning: it’s not unusual for staff to refuse to sell items, simply because they so deeply covet a certain 1950s bomber jacket for themselves.
