Dining in the dark
Word to the wise: Punctuality is important as there are only two dinner services. If you're more than 30 minutes late, your booking will be forfeited.
O.Noir is the first restaurant to bring the concept of dining in the dark to Canada. The idea behind it is the perception that dining without sight heightens your tastebuds, thus allowing you to experience flavours on another level.
Diners are led to their tables in the pitch-dark dining room by their waiters (who are blind) and asked to navigate their meal by touch, taste and smell. You can choose your meal in advance if you'd like to know exactly what you'll be eating, but if you're adventurous, leave it to the chefs to surprise you.
